Stuff you made already:

- Résumé (1-pager)
- Statement of Teaching Philosophy (500-750 words)

Artifacts from your spring takeover:

- Project handout and/or overview of the project
- Project prototype (images are fine)
- 5-10 minute video clip of you in the classroom
-A long with a few paragraphs explaining what is in the  video and how this chunk fits into the project
-Three pieces of student work with your annotations drawing our attention to key features
-“Big Idea” for a project next year (minimum one paragraph), which may include:
  • Essential Question
  • Product and Audience
  • Exhibition Venue
  • Key Learning Goals
  • Possible Anchor Texts
  • Connections to culturally-responsive and/or critical pedagogy

-End-of-year reflection
-General reflection (written, video, or podcast; no more than 1,000 words / 5 minutes):
  • Identify two “teaching superpowers”
  • Identify two areas for growth
  • Identify two “how might I” questions that you would be excited to dig into next year via your M.Ed. capstone project. (Examples: “How might I engage my emerging bilingual students in math instruction so that they experience a high sense of belongingness?” or “How might I develop my students’ critical consciousness around questions of institutional racism?”)
